Most of us are aware that we can improve our overall wellbeing through healthy lifestyle changes, but that change is hard! At Casey Health, we understand this challenge, and our team of physicians, providers, and psychologists is here to help you.
Because we believe our lifestyles determine the state of our wellbeing, at Casey Health, we pay close attention to all the factors that can affect your health including: your diet, physical activity, social interactions and even environmental conditions where you live, work and play. We are experts on helping people make fundamental changes in their lifestyle habits, and put a high priority on helping them achieve this goal. Often referred to as “Lifestyle Medicine” this emerging field combines health coaching, psychology, education behavior therapy, and counseling, and it is the science and art of helping people make lasting changes to their daily lives through how they manage their health, their relationships, their daily stress, and their emotions.
We believe each individual needs an individualized approach, including a plan to create and pursue these changes. In a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere, we address your specific needs and goals, and then recommend options, which may include health coaching, behavioral therapy, mindful meditation practices, and education. We also emphasize the importance of diet, exercise and a supportive social environment, together with appropriate counseling and medicine when it is required.
Within the context of the overall goals of our wellness programs, behavioral and lifestyle health services are specifically designed to help you catch illness-inducing habits early, and to re-route your lifestyle away from them in order to avoid the future onset of debilitating and costly illnesses, and instead put you on the path to your own best vitality and health.
