Nurse Care Coordinator
Michelle Lisenbee, RN, LMT, provides clinical support to our Primary Care Team in many ways, including direct and indirect patient care, communication with internal and external practitioners and patient education. She also actively participates in realizing the larger mission and vision of Casey Health through her holistic view and desire to walk with people on their journey towards optimum health. She earned her Associates in Nursing degree in 1988 from Northern Virginia Community College, followed by her BSN from George Mason University in 1990. After working in the hospital for a few years, she realized it wasn’t for her and moved into primary care office nursing in 1991. She worked with Baltimore based Potomac Physicians until 2009, then continued practicing with Chase Brexton Health Care until coming to Casey Health in 2015. She loves the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and providers that office nursing encourages.
Although not currently using these skills at Casey Health, Michelle is also a Board Certified Massage Therapist. She graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2002 and has practiced at wellness centers in Savage and Columbia Maryland. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, The National Association of Nurse-Massage Therapists and The Association for Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Michelle is married with two teen/tween sons and is a practicing mixed media artist.
